Gchat Practice is a compilation of annotations taken from the past year of Civil Architecture’s messenger conversations. Given that the practice operates digitally between Bahrain and Kuwait, the need to quickly communicate through rough sketches, borrowed imagery and scribbled over architectural drawings has turned gchat into its own medium.
The publication is made up of twenty eight pages of MS paint and snipping tool drawings which have been reprocessed and offset printed. The zine, designed by LOB (www.lob.tf) and published by Lounge Division, will have a print run of 250 hand-numbered copies. Orders are open now and shipping begins September 1st.
